the reason i ask is cause i need a closer on my fantasy team. not badly but all closers are gone, but set up men are still on waiver wire. any chance soriano or gonzalez become ATL closer?

Bry knows as much about baseball as he does about doughnuts...I'm not sure if that ERA is accurate but it is really close...I was so sad to see him go and LaRoche's .098 avg makes me ever more steamed we traded Gonzo for him. LaRoche was some thing 8-61 w/ 24K's going into tonights game...

WAS READING THE PAPER TODAY SAYING HE PASSED HIS FIRTS TEST OF HAVING NO PAIN IN HIS ELBOW THE DAY AFTER THROWING.NEVER REALLY KNEW HE WAS HURTING BUT I WAS SHOCKED TO READ THAT.MAYBE IF HE IS 100% HE MIGHT BE THE CLOSER.aLTHOUGH WICKMAN HAS DONE GREAT WITH US.HE JUST ALWAYS HAS SCARY SAVES GETS RUNNERS ON THEN GETS OUT OF IT.NEVER JUST COMES IN AND GETS 3 EASY OUTS

I agree but if you leave him in long enough to load the bases, at least give him one more batter. Maybe a DP ball, maybe a HR but either way, let him decide his own fate, not fat ass wickman.

I AGREE 100% HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU SEE A PLAYER PITCH 8 STRONG INNINGS THEN BLOW IT IN THE 9TH UNREAL

total pitch count from yahoo was 112. when he gives up one single i can understand leaving him, but after the 2nd he shouldve been pulled. then the 3rd to load it like you said wayne, at that point leave his ass in.
