  • Nba Final Day Info Discussion

Guys today is the last day of the nba season.....if anyone has any info on these gmaes please post here.

Memphis is at MINNESOTA tonite and the TIMBERWOLVES find themselves in a situation where if they WIN this game it hurts them in the draft via some trade they made. They absolutely do not want too win this game. Why would they want to weaken the future of the franchise by winning this meaningless game..Memphis will score as they always do and tonite this MINNESOTA team wont WANT to keep it.

It's pretty crazy saying that they wouldn't want to win a game, these are professional athletes and winning is the only thing on their mind I would think.

I was simply stating that in general, once any players are on the court, there is never and should never be any incentive for them to lose. That would go away from the logic of their business, since the idea is to provide the fans with the most highly competitive gamin entertainment. I personally don't believe in resting your starters unless there is something completely wrong with them since the fans don't get to see what they've probably been hearing about all season long.

im looking at teams playing final home games vs teams resting players....provided that home team has nothing to lose by winning.......those type games are no brainers. No team wants one of there studs injuried in this last meaningless game even more so if its on a the road ....its pointless ......so the home team will win.......however...i am definitely betting memphis

wait and see. ....tonite when the worst team in the league wins at minnesota easily because the put a BAD team on the floor....If you hav been watching the nba late this season ....MANAGEMENT is TANKING games by fielding SHIT teams....guys that want to win , but arent good players and wont likely win vs another teams starters

You ever thought Memphis has had a bad team on the floor all season long? Plus, anything can happen. But just as a hint, although Memphis could win this easily and I notice some other people are on Memphis as well so good luck.

Keep in mind though, from March 30 to April 10 Memphis lost 6 games, and then they beat Denver and San Antonio at home going into this game against Minnesota. They're either due for a loss since that matches they're largest winning streak all season, or else they're going to finish up on a high note by winning this game, but Memphis has never shown signs of 'picking it up' all year so it beats me.

I'm not touching this game but I would think that the home team has more to play for (fans).

Memphis lost PAUL GASOL there best player for alot of games early in the year. He is back . Im beting MEMPHIS because i dont think Minnesota wants to win and will put a team on the court that will accomplish that....the line open at MINN- 3- by gametime i suspect MEMPHIS will be the favorite as they should be. Memphis doesnt have a problem wth winning this game...its as simple as that. GARNETT hasnt played all week ....i wonder why? no i dont.

Someone might want to tell that nut Ricky Davis that. He put up 46 his last game and was the reason Minny came from way back and covered their last 2 games. Hopefully they bench him and play some rookies.

Bulls win --they clinch the # 2 seed regardless of what Cleveland does. They lose they fall to a # 5 seed.---Cleveland is at home playing Milwaukee and is favored by 15, pretty much guarenteed a straight up win

Best of Luck Thendy- I have an NBA Night off and let the real games commence soon. Too hard to 2nd guess Coaches on what there goal is. Even if they say they are going to do this or do that- no matter-I will be rooting for Memphis!
