Golden State beat Dallas the first two times they met this year. Questions: Do you think that Avery Johnson likes people to think his mentor Don Nelson has got his number? Do you think that after relentlessly driving the Mavs over the regular season, Johnson is OK with his team not really competing near the end of the season? Do you think the Mavs are cool with giving Golden State, their probable first-round playoff opponent, the confidence that will go with a 3-0 season's sweep of the Mavs? After last season's Finals, do you think the Mavs want to suffer any kind of "sweep" at all? If, as I do, you think the answer to all these questions is "No," that these questions and this game have more than "no meaning" for the Mavs, then you shouldn't feel cocky about the bankroll you just put on the Warriors at -10.
