I'd LOVE for Cuban to buy the cubs....but when it really comes down to it....it's not the owner. It's the product on the field.

We have zero excuses this year with the payroll we have. Right now there isn't much chemistry and Soriano going down doesn't help things. And we really need to shore up the middle relief in a HURRY.

Cuban would be GREAT long term. I think Jerry Coloangelo is probably the front runner and will probably end up buying the club which wouldn't be bad either.
