The Rangers have always had plenty of offense. If they could ever sign a couple of pitching studs, they would have a chance to go a long way!Originally posted by ackangerooAll that said, I still wish he was a Ranger. It was nice to have SOMETHING to cheer for from May 15th on!

Texas should have kept him or at least kept SorianoOriginally posted by ackangerooPlease note how few posts i have, so i AM NOT stirring the pot. I'm in Texas, so I have reasons not to like ARod, but he took what was offered by these crazed owners, switched positions when he was clearly the best in the game at SS, won the MVP, had a terrible post season, endured the criticism without placing blame elsewhere, and has carried that same team and fan base for the first 20 games of the year. It's hard not to like him and what he does. I wish there were more pro athletes like him for my little boy to watch stay out of trouble and just play ball.

Very nice post. I look at A-Rod the saw way I looked at Bonds before the all the steroid crap started. I still think Bonds is the best baseball player i'll ever see in my lifetime, but A-Rod is much easier to root for and is someone whose ability should be admired and revered.Originally posted by ackangerooPlease note how few posts i have, so i AM NOT stirring the pot.
