Florida really cut their payroll Doc- Washington has two guys out already with injuries and they are throwing unseasoned pitchers- I hit this one hard on Florida and hope it stands up. I even took a 2 1/2 line for some big change. Its sad but baseball is coming down to 1st team and 2nd team squads. The ones with money fills out both- NY Yanks. The ones who are in search of an identity and have little to pull off the shelf- Wash

Washington Blows

I had to ask myself too if Florida was that good or is Washington that bad.

I normally only bet parleys and I had no hesitation adding Florida -1.5 to 4 out of 6 of em.

So back to the question. I feel that Florida is actually pretty good this year. I guess we will see when they actually play some stronger opponents.

In the meantime, Ill gladly take the cash. I wish my book had a -2.5 line !!!

At this stage of the season, with Injuries for Wash, and Fla's healthy status, and better pitching, it's both....IMO

I'm impressed with Florida. I'm not shocked that they have scored like this the second and third games of the year, but John Patterson is a really good pitcher, and they just made him look like a minor leaguer.
