  • Big upset tomorrow, who's it going to be?

(Just for fun) Anyone think any of these teams can pull the big upset tomorrow? I'm sure one, or two of these five teams will.

Tampa Bay over New York: Seems the past couple of seasons TB has gave NY all they wanted. TB is going with S. Kazmir and the Yankees go with Pavano.

K.C over Boston: Out of all the games I'm going to list, I really doubt this will happen.

Baltimore over Minnesota: Minnesota goes with Santana.

Pittsburgh over Houston: Pitt goes with there ace Z. Duke Houston goes with Oswalt. This game looks to be a real good pitching match up.

Cincinnati over Chicago: Chicago goes with Zambrano, but I think you have to take into account that the Cub's seem to lose almost every time on opening day.

I'm going to go with Tampa Bay over New York and Pittsburgh over Houston.

I'd take the basketball upset tomorrow, haha. But out of these, I'm go with TB. Who knows how Pavano will pitch. And Kazmir hasn't been too shabby against NYY in his career. As for the Cubs, I was at Opening Day last year in Cincy when they crushed the Reds, and I expect the same tomorrow. What's a bitch is, my wife is going tomorrow and I'm not!

      I say yes

Cubs are basically a PK and the Reds where 14 games better than them last year so that to me is not an upset.

The only big Fav that I like is Houston.
I think any of the others can lose.

I think the Rays would be my upset pick. Kazmir has a 3.29 lifetime ERA vs. Yanks. Pitches well in day games too. Helps neutralize the lefties in the lineup that could use the short porch. Plus Pavano is a big ? at this point...

Meche will beat Schilling unless the bullpen blows it.

Well it was a good day for those upsets as you can see. LOL, I tell the old lady to parlay the Cub's and the Red Sox and now I'm in the dog house. Oh well that's just the way it goes sometimes.
