    Six-Pack for Sunday

Random thoughts on the Final Four..

-- If you're Florida AD Jeremy Foley, you have a contract in your hand Monday night at 11pm, with an extension and a very large raise for Billy Donovan. He's worth it.

-- Gators shot over 60% from floor in 86-60 win over Ohio St back on Dec 23 in Gainesville, game that was much closer than final score indicates.

-- You watch Greg Oden play, and you see how much work he'll have to do to become a quality NBA center, then you see him block a shot like he did at end of Saturday's game, and you know he could really be great someday.

-- If Oden and Mike Conley come back to Columbus next year, the Buckeyes might not lose a game.

-- Where do you think Kentucky will turn if Billy Donovan stays in Gainesville?

-- OK, so Florida and Ohio State have the two best athletic programs in America, this much we know, since they'll play in national title, in both football and hoops this season.

                      Charlotte at Toronto
A battle between a team with one of the best records in the East (Toronto) against one of the worst (Charlotte) would seem to favor the Raptors in a mismatch at home. But the Bobcats have actually been a tough draw lately as they've gone 6-4 straight up in their last 10 games and an even better 8-2 against the spread. Charlotte has also won its last three of four road games ATS, including a solid performance out West in Phoenix in which they took the Suns to overtime before losing. The Bobcats look like a decent pick getting the spread (+7 1/2) in this one according to Dunkel, which has Toronto favored by just 2. Dunkel Pick: Charlotte (+7 1/2). Here are all of today's games.

                            NY Mets at St. Louis
The Cardinals open up defense of their championship with Chris Carpenter on the mound. Carpenter was virtually unhittable at home last year, posting a 1.82 ERA in 17 starts. He'll face the seemingly ageless Tom Glavine, who at 41 is coming off a 15-7 season. But after an 11-2 start to last season, age appeared to catch up with Glavine as he went 4-5 after the All-Star break with an ERA (4.33) that was almost a run higher than before the break (3.48). The Cardinals should ride Carpenter's arm to a win tonight according to Dunkel, which has St. Louis favored by 1 1/2. Dunkel Pick: St. Louis (-145).
