Kaptains "Final Four OVER" Saturday
I've been eyeballing the OVER in the OSU/Geo game, and I did my ciphering, like Jethro, and came up with the following....
I don't think this is necessarily a good handicapping method, but I'm gonna utilize it.....
Geo Averaging as a team PF/PA total of 127 per game..3 < 130
OSU............................................... .136...............6 > 130
simple math.......................................composi te......3 > 130
I figure the 2 teams to be pretty evenly matched, and figure it takes 65 ea to get to the total....So my "K" factor is 65 per team...
Geo has gone OVER 65, 25 out of 36 games.........69%
GeoTown games total PF/PA over 130,19 0f 36.....53%
OSU has gone over 65, 25 of 37 times................68%
OSU games over 130 PF/PA, 24 of 37.................65%
This roughly equates to a 63 % chance this game will go over.....Now lets add the fact that, It's possible for an OT game....Not likely, but possible, we're adding another small % to our Jethro Formula....
Let's round this off to about 65 % of going Over.....Plus my gut tells me, that both of em get 65 points, so whala, we have an over............thus, my Krazy Logic renders the following play..........
