  • Excel for MLB

I've written a vanilla Excel Program for the Majors. Because it is a daily sport and I question whether I will be able to stay on top of an elaborate program, it's very basic. It will rely on hot streaks, strong home teams and/or bad road teams, and most recent performance.

Pitchers will basicly determine the line. In other words, it's not a solid handicapping method and is experimental. I'll post the games and results as I can. It'll pick one game (for now). I won't be playing the games myself, it's just a weighted streak method that I have wanted to experiment with for the last couple of seasons but have not done. It begins once each team has at least 10 games under their belt.

I'll post the games in this thread. I'll try to post each day, but cannot guarantee it since I am not online at home. I do my internet stuff at work (on break) and at the coffee shop on my days off. Have fun.
