I am going to be using this thread for the whole MLB Season. I only had 3 losing seasons in MLB in over 30 years. I am playing every play the same no matter if I like a game more or less than another. The only difference is that I may be playing more money on games when I get on a run, and cut back when I’m cold.

This thread is for those that may want to follow when I’m hot, or fade when I’m cold. Either way, I’m only posting to contribute in any way I can. I might post 1 day, and not again until I have free time, so please don’t ask where my plays are. I don’t want to feel pressure into giving a play, like I did in the past.

I would like to have feedback from the members here on how to post my plays. I do not want to post Money Amounts because that has only brought about negative feedback in years past.
I always have enjoyed in posting a PLAY OF THE DAY (POD), but should I post units, with 5 or 2 units(highest) being ones that I have more confidence in. Or should I just post them all the same, or should I put out a POD or what? The one thing here is that no matter what it is, I am still only betting everything the same.

The one thing that has consistant in MLB standings for as long as I can remember, is the 60-40 percentages that end up in the Final Standings at the end of the year. The top Teams have a winning % around 60% and the Bottom Teams 40%. So if the Favorites or Top Teams are 70% or more, and the Bottom Teams are 30% or less at the All Star Break. You can believe that these numbers will go back to 60%-40%, the send half and some Big Dogs will pull many upsets. But be careful, because injuries can and will happen and anything can and will happen on any given day.

If you are going to be playing them all for the same, then I would just call them all 1*'s and post them as such. Best of luck this season Chuck!

I always like a rating system that says what plays you like more than others (1-5)
        Great Day To Win

        MLB 2008 (19-23-1) +3.0 units

        NBA 08-09 (10-7) + 1.59 units

        GOY (4-1)

chuck i would play them all the same using 100 dollars as your point. To me its easier to keep up with that way. its also easier to figure your profit. If you have
            3 games
            1 at -120
            +140
            +160

a 1-2 day with both dogs is a push day if u use the record 1-2 looks bad
            MLB 2012***100-98 +$215 OR +2.15 UNITS
            HUGE PLAYS 2-1

            NFL 2011-2012** 6-10
            0-0TOP PLAYS

            NCAA FBL 2011-2012**** 26-23

            4-1 TOP PLAYS

            GOY 33-12 ALL SPORTS

If you're posting all games the same just write to win 1 unit or 1 unit bet on the games you post. Look forward to your plays this year and good luck Chuck!

              NBA 35-33 -.22 units

I believe you will see that liking one game over another and having only 1 unit level will make you feel closed in. I also believe you should limit the number of ratings so that you stay consistent during the year. I propose a 1-2-3-5 system that I believe will meet your needs and the following crews needs.
For instance base it on the parameters.
Since you go mainly with starting pitching use ---for example
1 is a solid play but concerned over a bull pen or injury. (possible 5 inning play)
2 is a more solid play but the opposing team has a young gun and they have a good record at home
3 Best Pitching, defense, hitting well lately and should blow by this team
5 All the above and umpire likes favs, injury to other team, starting pitching- should provide 7 innings, bull pen solid, good home or away record!
                    Looking forward to bases Chuck!

I like your reasoning and will go with this format. Thanks for everyone's comments.
