I won last night with UCLA and have now hit seven of my last nine basketball posts.
Friday:
1* USC + the points
I posted this play Sunday afternoon at the opening line of +10 and will grade my results accordingly. The line has now dropped about a point but I still consider this a solid play. 25 percent of the teams remaining in the tournament are from the Pac-10. It is the most underrated conference in America. USC is on a huge roll right now......sailing through its conference tournament and coming off two convincing wins. They might not win tonight but this should be a very close game. North Carolina has great talent but has thrown in several clunkers.
Saturday
1* Memphis +1
Ohio State has gone to the wire two games in a row against very iffy competition. They can't keep tempting fate with these awful starts. Memphis is on an amazing roll. They've won 25 in a row (!) and the win last night over a very good A & M team playing close to home was very impressive.
