  • Teaser Question on Betcris/Bookmaker

    Just a question for everyone:

I had Kansas in a 2 team tease -3. I thought that since one play tied, it reduced to a one team teaser, which does not exist, hence a push regardless of what the other play does. However, they are telling me if the other team loses, GTown -2, I lose it. So basically I have $120 to win nothing now. Am I wrong or right here?

Well that's some shit. I moved from Bodog to there about 2 months ago, and Bodog had any push = a push. I actually just went and looked and they still have it that way. This sucks, oh well. Too bad Wright couldn't have hit one of those last 2 FTs.

Generally in a 2 team, or 3 team PARLAY, a Push, with the others being winners, it usually reverts back to the smaller play....a 2 team parlay, 1 push and 1 winner, = a single game bet......1 winner.....a 3 teamer becomes a 2, a 4 becomes a 3....etc....

Noe Teasers are generally this way.....any part of a TEASER pushes, you lose that yeaser.....Now you stated they told you, that with one push, it's contingent that the other team win, for you to collect, or save money.......I think what they're saying is, both sides, or multiple sides of a teaser have to win, if you have a push, to get your money back.....
That is not a bad deal. cause generally all pushes LOSE in a teaser........IMO

This has been what I'm accustomed to.....Go back to your offshore book, online, and call up wagers, go through the explanation for teasers, and it'll explain it here.....They always do, they're obligated to.....Rules

I would never bet with any offshore book which calls a push on one side of a teaser a loser.
Actually, I wasn't aware that there are books which still do this;I thought that went out years ago.

IMO that's bullshit and i agree with savage. Locals LOVE to call a push a loss in every sport but no book i have EVER used does that. A push and a win on a teaser has always been a refunded wager in every book i've ever used. On a parlay it drops down to a one or two teamer with a push. In teasers a push with 2 wins turns into a 2 team teaser. A push with one winner is a refunded wager. The only book i've ever seen call a push a loss on teasers is in Arena football which some would consider a type of exotic betting sport cuz Vegas doesn't have a firm grip on the league.

I can't understand how they do that in hoops. Locals, well, they are looking for the edge every time. Books, that could be the difference to me in choosing one. If plenty offer a push, why go with one who credits you a loss? (JMO)

Yeah, I agree. I'm not too pleased about the having $120 to win nothing tonight. I was already going to cash out a large chunk of my money after the tourney, but that number may have grown to all of it.

                want some good advice?
if you play teasers the only place to play is ABC.
stated this before in other threads.
example: college bb 2teamer 5pts-05 ties win.
                Luck favors the prepared.
