    This is based on the last 9 tournaments and just for the sweet 16 round:

    Higher seeds are 49-23 SU (68%) and 28-39-5 ATS (42%)

    Favorites are 52-20 SU (72%)

    Favorites of more than 7 pts have lost ONCE in 9 years

    Favorites of more than 7 pts are 12-11 ATS (52%)

    Lower seeded teams as either favorite or underdog of 3.5 pts or less are 16-10 SU (62%) and 17-8-1 ATS (68%)---TEX A&M, PITT, UNLV

    #7, #8, #9 seeds are 7-2 SU and ATS (78%)----UNLV

    #4 seed is 4-11 SU (27%) and 7-8 ATS (47%)------SOUTHERN ILLINOIS

    Unders of less than 129 are 8-1 (89%)

    Your trend of lower seeded teams is counterintiuitive on Memphis as they are the higher seeded team today. Memphis is #2, Texas A&M #3. Thus, given your trend analysis, Texas A&M is the play. If you are going to post trends, get them right.

                    Now that the 2007 NCAA Tournament is entering the Sweet Sixteen round, let’s take a look at some top-secret news and notes surrounding this year’s entrants. Keep it hush-hush and enjoy the rest of the dance!

                    Texas A&M:
                    23-2 SU vs. foes with a win percentage of .735 or less this season.
                    4-4 SU vs. foes with a win percentage of .735 or better this season.
                    8-5 SU and 6-7 ATS when they allow 62 or more points.

                    Memphis:
                    Own the nations’ longest win streak at 24 games.
                    All three losses against foes with a win percentage of .750 or better.
                    Sweet 16 underdogs of 5 or less points off a bigger win are 19-6 ATS.

                    Tennessee:
                    1-7-1 ATS in their previous nine NCAA tourney games before this year’s event.
                    last Sweet 16 appearance they lost, 74-69, as 1.5 point favorites.
                    Have allowed the most points (160) in this year’s tourney.

                    Ohio State:
                    2-4 SU and 1-5 ATS in their last six games against teams from the SEC.
                    No. 1 seeds that covered the opening round game are 21-7-2 ATS in the Sweet 16.
                    Big Ten teams are 11-6 SU and 14-3 in the Sweet 16 round since 1999.

                    Southern Illinois:
                    35-15-1 ATS as non-conference underdogs.
                    MVC dogs of 5+ points are 3-22 SU and 9-16 ATS in the NCAA tourney.
                    MVC dogs of 5+ points are 0-12 SU and 3-9 ATS versus teams seeded 1-3.

                    Kansas:

                          My rating system is as follows:

                          1-10 units on plays typically
                          20+ on extremely hot picks, goy, etc. (VERY rare)
