****Note. reason i'm on memphis....simple IMO this game is just like texas v. usc last weekend. everyone and their mother were on texas and they got rolled. samething here tonight. i cant find 1 memphis backer. who crowned A&M??? they are over rated. IMO kansas is the only legit big 12 team. memphis comes to play tonight wins outright.

I was going to do write-ups with my picks, but not enough time. Here is my thought on that game as well, I will be with YOU>

I was going to stay away from this one with so many respected cappers the other way.

Texas A&M has let up 69 or more points in 4 of its last 6 (87,98,78,69) and over it’s last 5 on average has allowed 70 points. Over it’s last 5 and at “neutral” sites, Texas A&M has let it’s opponents shot over 41% (an increase over it’s season average).

Texas A&M has also be out rebounded in 2 of it’s last 3, with Memphis only being out rebounded once in it’s last 10. Memphis hold a strong season average advantage in offensive rebounds. And while Memphis does turn the ball over, they also cause turnovers at a high rate.

Memphis does very well coming off of rest, a sign of a well coached team (Calipari). Memphis does carry in a 24 game winning streak, although against an easier schedule, and is 22-8 in all tourney games the last 3 years.

Both teams have been strong ATS with Tex A&M 26-10 over it’s last 36 and Memphis 7-1 over it’s last 8. And we can go on and on with trends to support either team here.

While I understand this is almost a home game for A&M, with Memphis being young and having a hurt star, IF (and it is a big if) Memphis can hold the Tex A&M squad under 30% from the three point line and continue it’s up trend on the FT line, and make the easy ones (it has been reported they missed over 10 “layups” last game), not only keeping this one close, but winning it can be done. I will take the points here.
