  • AF/Depaul 2nd Half Play

Taking Depaul +3 1/2 for the 2nd half...unfortunately, I think they hang in there and may even win this game. GL!

AF will be the only #1 not to make it to MSG.

hell yes...I know you'll guys think I'm a dork, but this is awesome as an AF fan...I went to the Academy to play football in '99, and believe me when I say the basketball team was a joke, is a huge understatement...you guys have no idea how hard it is to recruit at the Academies so I definintely appreciate it more than the average fan when any of them (yes, Army and Navy too) do well...I know I ranted and raved on here about whether or not AF should've made the tourney, but honestly after watching their last 3 games and considering they'll be playing @ MSG, I'm glad they made it this far as opposed to probably getting bounced in the 1st round of the NCAA tourney...laugh it up fellas, but this is the 2nd proudest moment I've had as an AF fan!!!

I still don't get it though. They have not won anything yet

The emotion is great but where was it in February and March when they needed it. I realize A.F. was horrible but these kids didn't go or play there when that happened. It was like they just won their conference tourney or something. Act like the "Mission" isn't over yet.

Happy for your guys Jimmy, but I totally agree with Wayne. That was just a win, nothing more.

don't wanna sound rude, but you guys have no clue...just like nobody understands how hard it is to make it through the Academy, nobody understands how bad this team was and how hard it is to have a quality team at the Academies IN ANY SPORT...you actually have to get more than an 800 to get into school their and you actually have to go to class EVERYDAY so they can't just grab every McD's All-American...yea, they haven't won anything yet, but they did make it to the final 4 of the NIT in MSG (which I'm sure none of these guys ever imagined when they agreed to play BB at the AFA)

P.S. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Clemson fans strom the court as well tonight?

I guess we care and last i knew, we were allowed to. Wait until you win more than a quarterfinal game before you storm the court and jump on tables. Maybe that's why they didn't go any further in the conference tourney. They were satisfied with what they had already done.
