ND -4. This line is really odd. This is the first time I saw this line, but I thought it would be around 7 or 8 in favor of ND. First impulse is to take ND. Bookie is taking advantage of all the Winthrop publicity to get the line down, but knows that ND will cover. OR is it that they are trying to get the ND money, but thinks that Winthop will win outright.

Anyone have any opinion on this game. I'm still thinking about taking ND, but would like to see what you guys think. After all that is what this forum is all about. Sharing info.

Well, after thinking about it for a while i bit the hook and took ND -3, buying the hook down. I think this is a public favorite, with all the talk on ESPN and radio, and the book has tried to set the hook with a low line. I think that ND wins by 7 or 8. Of course it is gambling so know one knows until the game is over.

I like the Irish also. Think they win by 6-9. All the ESPN experts have been picking Winthrop as their cinderella team. I think it will be a close one with Notre Dame pulling away late at the free throw line.

I'm playing N.D. It seems every year the "experts" jump on board some cinderella team (like last year with them saying Oral Roberts was going to be the first 16 ever to beat a 1), and it never pans out. I think Winthrop is the team this year, and all their hype just got us 2-3 points!

Gl with your pick. Notre Dame can score the ball. However, so can Winthrop. I have this as a buzzer beater game which leans towards a Winthrop cover, but free throws should push it towards a cover, especially at your -3

Winthrop is a very good team as they played alot of road games early against some very good competition. I like Winthrop to win straight up!
