This is how it works with my bookie, so i am sure its about the same thing with offshore books

the only time i pla them is if i am having a good week and I have some buddies over my place and we are drinking some beer, and i decide to act stupid and start taking the Dolphins at +3 instead of -7, etc...

i never bet more than $200 on teazers

You couldn't be more on the money. Teasers can really kick your ass. Its alot earlier to hit one team at normal line then three teams and +10 point line. The odds are good that one team will just totally FUCK you over. Thats my option :D :D :tongue:

Nut-you are smart.
It is hard enough to pick one team right, and as you well know, in many cases 1) you don't need points to begin with and you are better off doing a straight bet and 2) in a lot of cases there is an unexpected blowout and the seemingly great 17 points you get in a teaser mean nothing when team loses by 30.
Teasers of any sort are BAD, BAD betting propositions over any period of time, and like you say should be done for shits and giggles when you are winning only and certainly not when you are behind.
I don't play many teasers, but alas my weaknesses are 3 and 4 team parlays, which are also over time a lousy betting proposition.

Agree in Football Parlay's are a bad bet

But in baseball I like them because you can use them to eat alot on Juice/ Wood in the high line teams. Also I have won some good money on baseball parlay's...:D

But agree football parlay's I normally hit two out of three and lose but if I took them alone I would have made money not lose.

I agree Nut I did the same stupid thing all last year and know that I lost atleast $2000.00 dollars from them. But you put blinders on and look at the over all picture and see you won money for the year in football, but in reality you should have won alot more. I was told this summer by a friend that the key to winning in gambling is to stay desciplined. That is actually when I started posting on are regular basis here and its working for me bigtime. He told me if you lose don't just try to get your money back fast take it slow. Also

if you win remember your game plan and stick to it. I use to say when I won lets make more and would place a stupid pick on a team I should never have touched in the first place. With the new plan I have won over $9000.00 dollars in the last two months.

I love baseball parlays also especially with dogs, totals, etc. There are some nice payoffs.
Homer or anyone who is good at these, please post a good 4 maybe 5 but no more teamer if you see one(can be combo of sides and totals).
