Memphis -17.5

NT has the classic resume of a 16 seed. First NCAA bid in 19 years. 10-8 in their weak conference. But they won 4 in a row in an empty gym to get the bid. Their only chance is slowing the game down, but the only way they know how to play is up-tempo. Say what you will about Memphis, but they know how to run bad teams out of the gym and this should be one of those instances. Memphis by 30.

Illinois probably has the best defense in the country, and certainly better than Virginia Tech. Not that Illinois is the play, as VT is much, much more explosive offensively.

Mine is Long Beach State University. I have them +8, they are currently +7, and I expect them to win a very high scoring game.
