IMHO, there are only two possible champs in this '07 bracket:
Florida Gators
Kansas Jayhawks
Fast forward three weeks from tonight to see if this has any merit whatsoeverYou can't always get what you want, but if you try some time, you might find, you get what you need.

And I gotta rant just a lil' bout the whining from the ones that didn't get in, or for the ones that snuck in-- i MEAN FOR REAL????
Every year there's 3-4 or 5-6 that say they should be in, and another few that folks say shouldn't be there, but the reality is none of those would be making a title run, as if they was that good they would have won their last game, and then have to win 6 straight.
Maybe I am the only one that sees it, but even if we expand to 128, there will be 3-4 on the bubble that said they got hosed, and the reality of course is that none of these were legit threats for the crown.
So the 'Cuse shoulda got a call? Maybe. Maybe not. Drexel? How many games would the Dragons win, for real?
In 22 yrs, the committee has yet to produce 4 #1 seeds as Final Four conquerors, and they won't again in '07.
Bottom line , if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
The greatest event event in all of sports is what it is, flaws and all, because it is what it is, the greatest event there is in sports, regardless of an annual exclusion of a #35 or 55 team that has no chance of winning 6 in a row, and no bubble team that weaseled its way in has ever stole the title, so why not let things be, as sometimes the model of perfection is all that is necessary. So I ask of thee, who amongst the snubbees would have won 6 in a row, when given the opprtunity, lost their last outing? You can't always get what you want, but if you try some time, you might find, you get what you need.

You've convinced me and I agree with your writeup too. I think North Carilina with their run and gun style could go a long way, but I think Georgetown takes them out. I also like Texas A&M to make the final 4. I also think it's the one biggest event in sports. Best of Luck with your picks and I will be looking for them.

There is always so much debate regarding the 4-5 teams that got shafted, and the reverse of course is the 3-5 teams that got in without belonging.
I tend to feel there is value in the "surprise" entries, much as last year's undeserving G Mason team went to the F 4.
So be careful with the Stanfords, Texas Techs, and Arkansas (etc) types, because, whether deserving or not, you gotta be in it to win it, and they just could steal an ATS win or two.
Mark my words, at least one of those three "losers" will get the cover, and probably two or more, and at least one will get the outright winner. You can't always get what you want, but if you try some time, you might find, you get what you need.
