How Akron doesn't get in after winning the Eastern Division in their conference and finishing (26-7) is beyond me!

lol, here we go again...not that I'm going to get into a big argument about the NIT seeds, but AF does have the highest RPI of any non-NCAA bid team

It's all good man...when I went there, they were a perennial 5-28 team, but they've been decent the past 4 yrs...the reason I'm so upset they didn't make it this year is because I actually think they had a chance to win a few games, and I think this is the best team they've ever had...I went to the Stanford, Santa Clara, and GW games this year so I know how good they can play, but it's unexplainable to me what happened to them down the stretch...other than that, they're going to suck again next year so it's back to being a Tarheel fan

Losing @ TCU and to BYU @ home sealed their fate...it's obvious that the Mtn West gets no respect amongst the committee as UNLV gets a 7 seed and BYU an 8...UNLV IMO deserved a 4 or 5, and I don't even like them

Were's Connecicut, come on man. They beat Quinnipiac, Central Arkansas, fairfield, and Texas Southern. Let's not forget that they beat scools that are in the NCAA tourney like Albany and um Notr.. um no, I mean Loui, no... Um Pit.. No lost to them also. I know the beat Georg... shit got beat by them also.

                  Oh hell they suck.

But with 9 first year players and no, jrs or srs. watch out next year.
                  Good Luck to everyone

I think they committee was trying to make up for putting Air Force in last year.

                      Homer

I don't want to be a homer or anything. But I can't believe Alabama is a 5 seed (or 4 I forgot). I am an Auburn fan. I am glad that the SEC didn't get many teams in the big tournament because they are terrible. Although it would have been some good easy winners for the first round. But anyway Auburn beats Alabama twice in the regular season and has about the same record. The big difference is Alabama did not play anyone out of conference. Auburn did and they got beat. I just think Auburn would be more diserving thats all.

Ditto to that. Fuck it, I'll just bet on UMASS against Alabama.

How can Akron not be in this tournament? They were a bubble NCAA team and don't make the NIT?
