Why "Should" we win? You talk like we are driving the car. Many people who knew nothing about Nascar have entered my pools and done very well. If you have the internet, it's very easy to know just as much as we do on a weekly basis cuz it's all right there.

Cause you have a top 12 driver for EVERY race, he has whats left. Odds are in your favor to win, are they not??

JC, There are weeks when Dale Jr. looks like total shit and is starting in the 30's. Guess what, we're Stuck with him.

On the other hand, longnex can look at the top 10 starting positions every week and pick someone new while not having to deal with a shitty car or starting position. It's not nearly as one sided as you think.

Yeah he could, but thats not very likely. Week 25- 36 he will begin to be hard pressed to find quality drivers to go against JR, you realize that or you wouldnt have made the bet.

Besides, its just what i think anyways, so it doesnt matter. I do think he had some stones making that bet, thats why i am pulling for him.

And i can think of worst things than being stuck with JR. I would take JR starting 25 versus Ricky Rudd starting 5th.

JC, Montoya is a road course Specialist and this is his 1st year in Nascar. There are only 2 road courses and it was by no means shocking that he won, in fact i posted him to win that race!

I know im dogging it to get last, but i realized after 9 races and having 3 DNF that i was completly out of my league for trying to come in the money for this. But i am paying attention for next year.

I have to admit though, longnex has been doing his Nascar.com homework and he has done much better than i expected. I'm also wondering if that 100 point penalty will be the difference for him. If it is, that will be a tough loss for us!

I can't believe you gave up after only 9 races. Guys have come much further back point wise and won the thing with alot less weeks left. Like i told ldawg, it's just not in my blood to tank it in any pool or league i've been in. I hate no doing good and i'll try til the end usually. I would gladly give up the booby prize to try and finish above as many as i can. That's just me but i do see a few going for the last prize.
