  • **just Heard This Amazing Big East Stat!!

    FOR WHAT ITS WORTH:

That Big East teams are 1-16 after playing in overtime the day before in the Big East Tournament

LOUISVILLE PLAYED 2 OT GAME YESTERDAY

  • #2
There plenty deep, and as far as stats go they had lost 9 straight in Madison sqare garden going into last nites game. And that didnt affect them any. This team is young and talented, they have no fear of anyone.

    Good luck

thanks for the info Greek..incredible stat.
I wonder what it is through all conferences..I would think it would favor the non OT playing team because of fatigue.

Got it Greek...my thought is that this may run in favor of the team that didn't have toe Ot game the night before but may not be as lopsided in other conferences.. Thanks.

lol yes--and just saw some other stats trend that favor pitt ( but i just cant pull the trigger!! )

Here's some more trends in favor of Pitt tonight:

SU winners in the Big East Tournament are 148-27-2 ATS - this includes the 8-0 ATS this year so far.

These winners are also 40-7 ATS when playing with revenge in this tournament - Louisville beat Pitt at Pittsburgh in their last meeting.

                      All signs point to Pitt

you couple this trend with the fact that Louisville won their first game in 23 years at Madison Square Garden last night - you have to like Pitt

I think Pitt. is clearly the play here with Louisville coming off a mentally draining 2 O.T. game.

I think the fact Pitt. lost badly to them at home puts payback into the equation as well. I think tonight they could really use Palacios to loosen up the Pitt. defense. I heard he was out again too. I don't think it would matter if he did but it would help.

Good point Wayne...forgot about the stomping of Pitt at Pitt nearly 3 weeks ago. I have a lean towards Louisville but not touching this game.
