480V-3 phase, 1600 amp main breakers....and yes I figured it out....They had just had a shut down to calibrate, and test some equipment.....this burn out occured during re-start.....found the Incoming (Line side), and outgoing (Load side), on all 6 terminals had not been tightened when they energized.....thus open ended, and sparks flew everywhere, and literaly fried the 2 main breakers.....was my customers own fault, their maintenance men were responsible to rewire breakers, and they assumed (that famous word again), thet the test people would make em back up-------wrong----

I already got em 2 more breakers coming.....

              Westinghouse PC3500F, with 1600 amp rating plugs........thanks for asking----kapt

Karl, we buy a lot of breakers old and new from a place call breaker king and breaker broker. They are way cheaper than calling your local Westinghouse, Squard D, Siemens distrubutor. You may know of companys like them, if not i would be happy to get you some contacts and numbers.

Glad you were able to figure it out, i know your an engineer do you do consulting work per diem(spelled wrong)
