I can't believe you really think the reason the Steelers got rid of Porter was because they are cheap. I think they got rid of Porter because the only time you even knew the guy was on the team the last two years was when he talked trash prior to or during a game. My friends and I called him Mr. Invisible

Dog, you know they are cheap. Im a life long Steeler fan and name me one time they went out and signed a big time free agent. NEVER, poor old Hines Ward, a stud had to beg and fight for a small raise. Every time they develop someone good, they lose them to free agency.
