  • 10* Western Michigan

As a favor to all - no good lucks- save your time for your family today! Thanx and good luck to all on your games!

    Western Michigan -1

They won the first game 74-61 at home and now travel to Ball State who has lost the last four games. Don't worry about Dan Hess being possibly injured with ribs-he is a backup and averages few minutes.
They generally only lose against the top tier teams in the league. They (W.M.) are 4-2 ATS this year and 12-3 ATS for the past 3 years against teams scoring less than 64 points a game. HMMMM
But what have they done lately - spearit
    - 2-1 and 6-2 ATS after 15 games with same criteria.
But spear--Ball State isn't known for their offense- they are a good defensive team!
Well---vs. good defensive teams allowing less than 64 points--W.Mich. is 7-2.

But what are reasons that Ball State can win this and pull the plug on W. Michigans dreams.

    Yes- I was afraid you might ask?---ATS records show W. Mich at 16-12 vs B. S. 9-17
but only 3-13 away for W. Michigan and 7-6 for Ball State at home. HMMMMMMMMMMM

Now just imagine- one team flying under the radar that could be a surprise winner of the Mid-American Conference tournament, it might be Western Michigan.

The Broncos are a notch below top teams Akron, Toledo, Kent State and Miami, but they're worthy of keeping an eye on in this regular-season finale Sunday at Ball State.

Western Michigan has played well in the second half of many games the past month, most recently Thursday in a 68-54 home victory over Northern Illinois.

"Sometimes it's an adjustment, sometimes it's us playing harder, sometimes somebody catches fire,"
WMU coach Steve Hawkins said of his team's play in the second half.

The Broncos held Northern Illinois to 23.8 percent shooting in the second half, and Western Michigan committed only one turnover after halftime.

So expect it close at the half and W.Mich. to pull it from the fire afterwards.----Good Luck if you play!-----spearit

                Clark: What's steroids?
Richie: Something that makes your pee-pee smaller.
