    Six-Pack for Tuesday

-- Conference tournaments get underway tonight, as March Madness gets a two-day headstart.

-- Had forgotten that Bucknell was a 9-seed last year; team that wins Patriot League this year will be a lower seed.

-- If I had to bet, would wager that Pacman Jones played in his last NFL game for a while, if not forever.

-- JaMarcus Russell weighed 265 pounds at NFL Combine; what will he weigh when he gets money in his wallet? This is a pretty big red flag to me; he has physical skills, but will he do intangible things it takes to be a great quarterback?

-- There were 350 media members at the Combine.

-- Back in 1998, World Series of Poker had 350 entrants; last year, they had over 8,000. The power of television.

Tuesday's List of 13: Championship Week looms; here are things to look for during this 13-day "week"...........

      13) Winthrop is 25-4, 14-0 in Big South, but what happens if they get upset? High Point seems capable; would Winthrop get an at-large bid? Lot of pressure on the Eagles.

      12) Every at-large team in country will be pulling for Memphis to win Conference USA; any other winner in that league will deprive an at-large team of a more deserving spot in tourney.

      11) Marist is top-seed in MAAC, but they'll want to avoid a third game with Siena, after beating Saints in OT twice during season. Foxes have never beaten Siena in MAAC tourney.

      10) Will Missouri Valley get three teams in tournament, or did they beat up on each other too much during season?

      9) Long Beach State's top seven scorers are seniors; if they survive the Big West tourney, they can upset someone in a first round NCAA game. The 49ers are totally fearless.

      8) Whomever finishes #5 in Big East gets road game against St John's as their reward, not that Red Storm is formidable but you'd still rather not have to play road game in post-season.

      7) It would almost be unfair if Vermont (15-1), Albany (13-3) don't meet in America East final; well-coached Boston would seem to be the only serious contender to pull an upset.

      6) Central Connecticut won NEC by four games, but can they win conference tourney? An NIT bid would be disappointing for a team that won its league so easily.

      5) Same for Austin Peay, which was picked fifth in OVC, but won the league by three games.

      4) Holy Cross, Bucknell are both 13-1 in Patriot League; they split pair of home court wins, but Crusaders led both times by double digits in first half. Have feeling HC is the better team.

      3) If form holds, Final Four in CAA will be super twinbill, with VCU-Drexel, Hofstra-Old Dominion doubleheader.

      2) What happens to Gonzaga if they lose in WCC tourney?

      1) Can Air Force finally win game in Mountain West tourney?
