I hope some of you were able to see that epic brawl last between Buffalo and Ottawa! Gotta love it when the goalies drop the gloves and the place goes apeshit!

*Memo to Gary Bettman:

Did you hear the crowd noise during thae brawl...???? It was like a heavy metal concert and nobody was going for popcorn...the fans love the rough stuff and your sport has been dying a slow death....embrace the fisticuffs, drop the instigator rule and be happy that Jim Rome spent the entire first hour talking about your sport today!

Yeah I saw it....Made Lindy Ruff look like an ass as it was a clean hit and the replays clearly showed that Drury wouldn't have gotten hurt if his helmet was on properly....but be that as it may...that was quite a fight.

The only thing that could have made that beter would have been if Ruff and Murray would have started throwing haymakers! The rematch is Saturday night - set the Tivo's!

I hate to see what the suspensions would have been if this had been the NBA.
David Stern, who treats all of the players like babies, surely would have meted out some suspensions which wouldn't end until next season.

Lindy was wrong about the elbow but it was a late hit to the head. Hit him in the chest noproblem, but to the guys head not good. What usually happens the game after this stuff is the pre game build up is big, the real game results are quiet.

I love the spirit of Ottawa goalie Ray Emery....he was quick to get down the ice and drop the gloves and he took Biron down quite easily, but then he got fucked up by Buffalo tough guy Andrew Peters....how come none of the other Ottawa players came to his rescue?

because they are pussies.... Heatley leads the way... I love the way Lindy Ruff stood up for his team....ROOK- It might not have been a cheap shot...but it was a LATE shot.....Love It ! Old time Hockey-gotta love it !

i hate the nhl, but if this game is televised i will try and watch. jim rome did the nhl a big favor today, they should send him a check
