Does anyone have any thoughts on the Oscars this year? Is it worth laying the chalk on Forrest Whitaker and Jennifer Hudson?

Thanks for the help Chad... Someone (I can't remember who) posted picks last year and they were pretty profitable. Just curious about this year as well.

i will post my oscar picks friday.........i cannot imagine forest whitaker losing under any circumstance so no matter what the odds are, it is worth betting, there has been a late push for peter otoole but forest whitaker is lock, his performance was amazing ; on par with the last 2 best actors (seymour and foxx), so yeah bet him no matter what

as far as jennifer hudson goes, i dont believe dreamgirls is going to win both supporting categories........probably eddie murphy will be the one to suffer because of that ridiculous movie he just made, norbit..........traditionally, best supporting actress has been the shocker (although not recently), and the question you have to ask yourself when betting the 'actor' awards is "would it be an insult to ____ if he/she didnt win because there are like 15 previous award ceremonies leading up to this?"...........although jennifer hudson has not done anything to hurt her chances, and i think she will win, the answer to that question is 'no' and breslin and barraza were excellent and capable of pulling off the upset

at this point, best movie is a 3 way toss-up and at the moment, i would say babel wins, but any of those 3 can win (departed, babel, sunshine)

what sucks is that in years past, helen mirren would be like
-500 for best actress and worth betting everything in your account but they have caught up and made the odds like -5000, which is accurate, she cant lose, neither can scorseze
