Winners of 5 straight and 7 of their last 9 before last Saturday night's game @ Wyoming, the Aztecs have been playing some good ball. Their 2 losses were on the road @Air Force and @UNLV, two teams ahead of them in the standings. They travel to New Mexico tonight who just kicked their star player J.R. Giddens off the team. This Lobo's team is in disarray this year and Coach Ritchie McKay is very likely coaching his last games for New Mexico in the coming weeks. I look for Aztec guard Brandon Heath to get his hot hand back after shooting 7 of 22 @Wyoming this past weekend. I look for a high scoring game here and I just think San Diego State has more firepower especially without Giddens. Aztecs 80 Lobos 71

Too much pressure for the sorry OU guards to handle tonight. OU will be turning the ball over a bunch tonight. OU has won one whopping game in Big 12 play. A tremendous 4 point victory over the Baylor Bears. The Sooners are a totally different ballclub away from home, where they're not much better there. Hate to say it, but I think Mizzou routs the Sooners pretty bad here tonight. Mizzou 68 OU 51
