WELL IT IS HARD TO PULL THE TRIGGER ON THE CARDS...THEIR BULLPEN IS SIMPLY ROTTEN..AND TOMKO CAN BE JECKYLL AND HYDE..HE HAS PITCHED OK OF LATE AND AS I SAID THE BIRDS ARE TOUGH IN THE NATIONAL SPOTLIGHT...THEY SHOULD FIND A WAY TO WIN THIS AS THE ASTROS KEEP LEAVING THE DOOR WIDE OPEN...GOOD LUCK...

ON the road.....last several on the road he is 6-0! This AAA kid for Philly has a very stiff neck and is on a very low pitch count....which means the equally rotton Philly bullpen has to show tonight for sure....STL could hide theirs with a decent outing from Tomko. I am really going by

watching what they have done in trying to close games out....Plesac the other night was in and their announcers were saying how much he has lost on all his pitches. I have seen this pen implode with big leads late in the ball games.....the Mets...in a couple come to mind because I remember some guys had Philly in a parlay in it bombed them big time. Mesa really is erratic from night to night and Cormier is probably there most stable right now as I see they have been throwing him up to two innigs as a set up man. Adams and Wendell probably thier best shot right now...but they look good one night and not the next.....HOWEVER, the guys you mention are good except a lot only have a few innings:

Silva 60 - 4.66

so this means to me that the guys you need an inning or an out from can do the job the getting to them is the problem. So there are 3 middle men heavily used with era's around 5 to over 6! Then when they do bring in Mesa.....Yeechhhhh.....That JMHO tho POBOY AND BEST OF LUCK TONGIHT!!! Goldv

I heard they may rest him tonight to get a full two day rest. It really should not matter with the pitching matchup going tonight buy it does make the under 10 a little more inviting.

The line is starting to move up on Philly now as expected......I would think the public will bet Philly pretty heavy with A.P listing N/A plus the home advantage and plus the winning vs losing streak....-114 & R/L +145 right now....Gv
