5* Power Play Boston/Seattle over 9 Burkett vs Garcia
Never steady Freddy goes to the mound today after a nice performance vs Toronto in his last start. We are not convinced he has turned the corner. Before his last start the Mariners were ready to move him into the bullpen. After giving up a leadoff home run Garcia settled down shutting down Toronto in the win vs Halladay. No such luck for Garcia today as the Red Sox hammer right hand pitching. 131 out of 181 Red Sox Home Runs have come against right hand pitching and 102 of those on the Road. Garcia has given up 26 home runs this year with 14 being at home. Burkett is solid but we also think the Mariners bats will wake up after a tough battle with Martinez yesterday. Play on the over 9.
