Once again it's time for Fantasy Baseball. We had a fun League last year at Yahoo and we had 14 teams. It will be a Points League again this year. We have done Head to Head and Rotis. league's before but i didn't like them nearly as much as i do the points one.

Have you given any thought to eliminating IP as a stat? To me, it devalues the other pitching stats because guys just load up on starters to compile IP points.

I agree somewhat. I left it in this year BUT i added a category that might offset it better. I added Earned Runs (-1). That way if they pitch 6 innings and give up 5 runs, they are only a +1. Last year it would have been +6 there just for the innings pitched. Now starting a bad guy just to get points could backfire if he gets shelled!

Sorry Wayne. I signed off after I posted that. I think having ER will help. I just hate when leagues turn into a contest of who can make the most roster moves.

I agree, pitching was where all the points were. I think losing a pt. for every earned run this year will offset that alot and make a -8 by a pitcher a very possible thing. I think earned runs needed to be added as well. People (me included) were picking up crap pitchers just to get points for innings pitched. That will be very different this year when the runs against you count.

I left the max moves at 100 as well.
