So you want to call, every time a foreigner kills, or attempts to kill someone in this country, an attack on US soil??? .....There's not enough bandwidth on this site to list all the 'attacks' on US soil.....Quit being ridiculous....
Kaz i don't get involved in politics here but the 1993 attack was in hopes of killing 30,000 + people. If i had to choose sides, i too would probably side with you and monte more often than not but to say that wasn't a terrorist attack on u.s. soil is simply not right. It was.

Whatever....You're the clueless one. Makes perfect sense....If you can't see the difference between a car bomb exploding, without any warning, killing six people under Clinton's watch, and 911, which Bush was warned numerous times was going to happen and killing 3000 people. Then you are unbelievably clueless....
PS Why did you come in here, thought you were staying out? Thanks for the backhanded congrats....
Kaz, whether it's a car bomb or a plane, they can't guarantee how many die when they pull off an attack. They had no way of knowing thye Twin Towers were going to go down. They hoped for that but they couldn't guarantee it. More or less could have happened if one or 2 things went differently with those planes or if the building never fell. When they set off that massive explosing in a parking garage back in 1993, they were hoping to take the garage and surrounding properties down as well. Whether it was 6 or 6,000 dead doesn't clarify a terrorist attack.
In the World Trade Center bombing (February 26, 1993) a car bomb was detonated by Arab Islamist terrorists in the underground parking garage below Tower One of the World Trade Center in New York City. The 1,500-lb (680Kg) urea nitrate-fuel oil device killed six and injured 1,042 people. It was intended to devastate the foundation of the North Tower, causing it to collapse onto its twin.
The attack was planned by a group of conspirators including Ramzi Yousef, Sheik Omar Abdel-Rahman, El Sayyid Nosair, Mahmud Abouhalima, Mohammad Salameh, Nidal Ayyad, Ahmad Ajaj, and Abdul Rahman Yasin. They received financing from al-Qaeda member Khaled Shaikh Mohammed, Yousef's uncle.
The bomb exploded in the underground garage at 12:17 P.M., generating a pressure estimated over one GPa and opening a 30-meter-wide hole through four sublevels of concrete. The detonation velocity of this bomb was about 15,000 ft/s (4.5 km/s). The cyanide gas generated is assumed to have burned in the explosion.
In October 1995, the militant Islamist and blind cleric Sheik Omar Abdel-Rahman, was sentenced to life imprisonment for masterminding the bombing. In 1998, Ramzi Yousef was convicted of "seditious conspiracy" to bomb the towers. In all, ten militant Islamist conspirators were convicted for their part in the bombing, each receiving prison sentences of a maximum of 240 years.
Wayne, I'm just saying that you can't call every attempt by foreigners an attack on US soil. If that's the case, there have been numerous attacks on US soil since 911.....Where do you draw the line? A car bomb? A plastic knife in a shoe at the airport? A foreigner buying fertilizer at a farm store? These are all terrorist attacks then.....So then we can agree there have been many since 911?
Didn't Bush entertain the Talibahn back in May of right before the September attacks. Even though we knew they were responsible for attacks in several other places....Interesting.

I understand that Kaz but car bombs in this country were mainly viewed on t.v. while watching other countries. When it happened it was shocking to most and a big wake up call. Car bombs are the norm over there but not seen here hardly ever.
