last night had big winner on montreal...pushed on the total in the milw/pitts game and lost with the astros after they came flying back to tie it up....it was cinci's 27 th win at their last at bat!!!
DODGERS +65...price is to good to stay away even if woods is pitching for the cubs during the day...he is getting his k's but not wins and in his 5 career starts vs la he is 2-2 with an era of 5.33(2nd highest against any nl team)....perez won 4 of his last 6 and is 1-1 career with an era of 3.0....he will need to have the lead going into the last few innings so he can hand the ball to gagne who has 40 straight saves and has not allowed a single run in the last 20 innings....also the cubs are a dreary 4-11 vs lefties this year...may sammy break his bat again today!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D
HOUSTON...on the run line -1 1/2....miller will get his third win in as many starts today...in his last 2 starts he has allowed 2 earned runs in 12 innings and on monday vs the cubs he went 6 strong allowing only 1 run on 5 hits in a 3-1 victory....and who is this guy etherton???this will be his first start since 2000 when he was with the angels....he was in aaa louisville where he was a pathetic 7-7 with an era over 4...astros are 10-2 this year in the series...larkin is out....reds led league in errors with 111....however like i said in my reviews from yesterday the reds have won a league leading 27 games at their last at bat...lets hope they don't even have a chance to do it today.... -

Add MARLINS on the run line......padres have not given Lawrence any run support all year...the team has scored only 12 runs in his 7 starts....they've been shut out twice and managed only ONCE to score more than 2 runs in those starts...their record is 1-6...lawrence is 0-1 in his two starts vs fl. and his era is 7.71...however he did look good in cinci after losing 5 in a row....dontrielle? has faltered lately since the break, seeing a lot of his %'s increasing in the wrong direction..but believe that he gets back true to form against a team that has only won 4 of its 20 road series all year.....plus the marlins relievers are on fire.....1.05 era in last 18 games over 51 and 2/3 innings....PLUS the marlins have the best record in the league since the all star break(18-9).....lay the 1 and 1/2 and swim with the fish:DComment

take the EXPOS again tonight......san fran still hasn't waken up since dealing with the blackout and arriving at 5 am.....their ace schmidt goes for them tonight and he hasn't pitched since the 5th...tendenitis....expos are 4-0 this year against the giants and are 14-9 vs nl west teams....they are also 39-23 at home, if you can call it that
day has pitched only twice against the giants and is 1-0 with an amazing .89 era.....the price is to good here to refuse...oh yeah and that guy barry isn't around either!!!!

EXPOS.....winner on fri and sat....montreal is still a home dog with plenty of value here.....they are now 40-23 at their psuedo home...ponson is winless in his last two since being traded (7 earned runs in 14 innings) and struggled against the lonely mets on tuesday allowing 5 runs on 8 hits...montreal has won three straight and sf has lost 4 straight..montreal has won all 5 games vs sf this year.....even their coach stated that his team was tired and that they looked tired.....bonds is out grissom is ???after yesterday.....castillo on dl along with durham nen and rueter.........bonds replacement from aaa fresno got stuck at the airport in ny for 27 hours....this team just wants to get back to the west coast and try to get healthy.....EXPOS +20Comment
