I am a devout Under player, and with a team like Orlando who has been $$$ with unders all year, it is even more astonishing that I am tempting fate in this spot, but........

    Orl/NJ OVER 187

Orlando with big win v Spurs ( way over) and travelling to Newark for the B2B v Nets, and Magic shooting 51% L5 and allowing 49% in same, got a hunch that the defense will not be as prevalent here, and maybe even Nets exploiting situation.

Hate playing overs, hate bucking trends even worse, but this is my gut.

Hint: I have been on a mini-comeback of late , by picking spots 1 and 2 games per day. Haven't posted, didn't see the purpose, but call this one a gut-hunch-feeling-maybe play.

I like to hear this. You and I are in the minority. Most sport bettors prefer playing OVERs.

                        Thanks fellas.

May add NJ -5 as well, by the same reasoning ( B2B, travel, big shocking win v SA last eve).

Or.... maybe confidence level is sky high?

                        Nah, play the letdown/tired angle.

This game is a classic example of why I prefer UNDER plays to OVERs.

Both teams bolt out of the gate, and understandably cool to a 28-28 tie after 1Q. ( I also added a 1H OVER 94 playeeling pretty hopeful at this point.)

Fast forward to 4:30 to go in the 2Q, Nets up 46-40.

Missed shot after missed shot after bad pass after step on the line after missed shot, etc etc etc.

Next point is a 1-2 FT by Howard with 31 secs left, 46-41.

                              Halftime 49-43.

Even if I miraculously win my OVER play on this game, which I doubt seriously, it will take a helluva lot to sway me to be a regular over player.
