month or two ago, i wrote my final post here saying no more gambling, but how can i not bet on the super bowl???? especially if my favorite team is playing.
to be honest with you guys, i was liking the bears +7 for the longest time. being a colts fan, i was always frustrated how they can't put teams away like they used to. they would be winning by 10+ points, but would let teams come back in the 4th quarter.
im going to take colts -7 (colts -6.5 if available at gametime) relying on these factors
1) colts will stop the run game and limit the bears to 125 rushing yards
2) freeney will be doubleteamed leaving another DL opportunities to put pressure on grossman
3) manning will pick apart the injured secondary
4) rex grossman- not much experience in the big games. lovie smith will limit the deep passes ......BOB SANDERS
i understand that anything can happen...which is why they call it gambling. at first i wanted to play the total because i thought it would be much easier, but i actually realized it was going to be a lot harder. at first i was leaning towards the over because:
1) past two games in the playoffs have been in the 50s-60s.
2) manning lighting up the defense for 5tds
3) the most important factor*** if colts get behind by 10+ points by halftime, colts score in bunches when they're behind by that much
but.....i realized the under would be the safer play because:
1) these two coaches have too much respect and dont see either team running up the score.
2) rain.
3) public loves the over, opportunity for the books to make some money
4) history of the super bowl. last two went under.
wrote a lot, mostly useless information, but i just wanted to let you all know how i feel about this game. good luck everyone!
