  • Spears Thursday Hoops

Last night was tuff on a new monitored system with a 6-10-1 record after going 15-2-2. But with defeat comes new angles to investigate. Once a cappers plan fails in one night- one must not lose the big picture of - its still a winner based on 3 nights- 21-12-3 just needs a little fine tuning. Yes- I am an optimist!

Now going back to the chalkboard- something new developed and I am going to monitor it again tonight with the new formula. I apologize if some of you chose to play on this system and lost last night- how many times have we seen success only to play it the next time and get f-----.

However, Edison didn't invent his lightbulb on the first round and he tinkered till he found a way to make it work. Voila!

    Tonight I start with

    546 Samford -6 1/2
    (at 104 TAR 4-0)

Anything different about these plays than last night -yes! Only one would have lost last night--Stanford (2 OT Loser)

It gets lonely when you lose- its as trust has vanished. Edison must have felt this way!

    522 St. Joes -6 1/2
    3-1 TAR 178

Hang in there ...How would the games did if you just went back 5 or 7 games?? instead of the season..sometimes againest easier teams I would think the stats would be padded for the year

Not sure- I tried it last night on Georgie Washington and that was not the answer. I have been told by my friend that it works better for the season- seems strange with all the cupcakes at the beginning. In the case of Toronto last night against Wash in the NBA- Toronto had the point structure to win (over the season) but in the last 5 a hot team like Wash. would have been the selection. Another example was Stanford last night- hotter in the last 5 as well but poor results. He has a point.

Thanx dog- Pitt should go far this time in the tourney- Bradley is gonna be tough as well. Hopefully they won't meet again.

God I hope you're right about my Panthers. I have seen them play almost every home game the last four years in person because I am lucky enough to have season tickets and this team is by far the most cohesive unit they've had under Howland or Dixon. Also, if anyone has a chance to see the Petersen Events Center it's worth the trip to Pittsburgh. Sorry to clutter you're thread....GL Tonight
