Originally posted by wayne121899% of these owners, drivers & teams have raced at every track several times in the past. They not only have all those setup records to look back on but most also have multiple cars and setups they can compare. Add to that, they usually run the tracks during the week of a race and have up to 4 practice sessions along qualifying. Please ... It is a waste of time and money to travel these tracks for testing (JMO).

Originally posted by kbsooner21I respectfully disagree. This Vegas test was important as the track had a major change in the banking going for 12 to 20 degrees. I agree with the aspect of owners, drivers, and teams racing there in the past, but with all the rules changes throughout the years, some of that stuff will no longer work with the new setups. This test was important as it will be there only downforce test until about halfway through the season.

They worry about money and sponsorship, yet they blow money out their ass transporting everything around the country before the season ever starts. So what if a change was made. You'll see and test it when we get there!
