Tuesday's List of 13: Nobody asked me, but I'm glad winter is almost half over............

                            13) Stanford trailed UCLA 37-20 late in first half, then rallied to upset the Bruins with a stunning second half; this Cardinal team is going to be very good, and Trent Johnson, on heels of his success at Nevada, might be in for a huge payday.

                            12) When legendary coach Don Haskins was hired at Texas Western, the AD who hired him was O.A Bum Phillips, who went to become famous as coach of the Houston Oilers.

                            11) Central Florida's basketball team traveled over 6,000 miles just in January. Wonder if they brought their books on trips with them-- thats a lot of class time missed.

                            10) This is the ninth Super Bowl held in Miami.

                            9) Over the last four years, Oakland Raiders are 2-22 in the AFC West, so the bar is set low for young Lane Kiffin. One ominous sign is when Kiffin called Randy Moss, the moody receiver refused to talk to his new coach. Nice.

                            8) Bill Belichick is 82-27 as NFL head coach with Tom Brady at QB, 42-58 with someone else at quarterback.

                            7) John Elway was sacked 516 times, more than any QB ever.

                            6) JD Drew signed a $70M contract with Red Sox, but "only" $42M of it is in guaranteed money.

                            5) Mike Singletary is being interiewed in Dallas Tuesday for the Cowboys' head coaching job. Not sure if Jerry Jones is serious about Singletary, or just making sure he interviews enough minority candidates.

                            4) Steve Nash is a living, breathing textbook on how to be a point guard; he had 25 points, 13 assists, no turnovers in his game against Cleveland Sunday. Pretty much a perfect game.

                            3) After the botched FG attempt by the Cowboys in Seattle, the NFL is seriously considering scrapping the whole K-ball concept, going back to using regular footballs for kicks.

                            2) Adam Vinatieri, as a junior at South Dakota State, was just 27-53 on his kicks, and was replaced by a defensive lineman for PATs. He's come a long way since then.

                            1) The first time the Super Bowl was in Miami, 39 years ago, the cheapest ticket was $12. The cheapest ticket for Sunday's game in a cool $600. Thats face value.

                            .

Moss is such a piece of shit. If I was Kiffin, I'd beg and plead with the front office to get him moved elsewhere.
