  • Somebody stop me.........

Can someone please explain to me why I should not UNLOAD on TEXAS -1.5 tonight............?!?!?!?!

TEXAS is coming off two straight losses vs quality teams and has one of the best freshman in the whole country in Kevin Durant. He averages 23.8 ppg and had scored at least 34 points in three of four games prior to the Villanova loss in which he only scored 12 points on 4/15 shooting from the floor and 1/8 from behind the arc.

The Longhorns now face a mediocre NEB team with DURANT coming off an "off-day" on Saturday..........

Please tell me why TEXAS will lose 3 staright???????

SOBER SINCE MARCH 28TH OF 2007!!!

This game falls into the same catagory as the Illinois vs Indiana last night..A lot of people thought that there was no way that Ind will lose being that they were more talented and the hotter team.
Well some home courts can bring the best out in teams and cause a lot of havock with the opposing team and keep their field goal percentage down. Marks Lincoln is a very underated homecourt to come into during the week and I don't think Texas has enough experience to turn it around so fast.

I agree with Chuck, road teams scare the shit out of me in college hoops.

Nebraska always plays tough at home. I don't have the previous year record, but I remember them pulling some great wins in conference. They are 9-0 at home this year, 0-4 in true road tests. Texas is 10-0 at home and 1-3 on road. Texas is the much better talented team but they are young. Roadies in the Big 12 can be tough. OSU at Kansas. Kansas at Iowa State. Kansas at Texas Tech. Etc...

                Just food for thought...

Sorry guys, TEXAS is 1-3 on the road this year with 2 of the 3 losses coming in OT so potentially they could have had 2-2, 3-2 road record so that isnt half as bad as it looks!!!

Then no need to ask the question since you have made up your mind. I don't like fishy lines and I classify this one as fishy. Texas is the better team, but I expected the line to be at -5. Anything can win or lose, it is just picking your spots. No play for me, so good luck!

Thanks for input dude and I have not made up my mind yet as I am still looking into it......

and the fact that they are on the road makes me leery as I know how huge homecourt advantage is in CBB

Didn't mean to be onery or rude...just trying to give input...road has been unkind this year, especially within Big 12 and SEC...Good luck in your picks as it is all about kicking the man in the balls!

Texas should win rather easily, which kind of scares me when I look at that line, but I'm taking them anyway GL Chado!
