My comment does not require a direct quote nor source because it was made by an elected official, however, the references to `gestapo`,`stalag`,`gulag` etc were made by Sen D. Durbin during what I think was a press conference over the Abu-Graib and Guantanamo holding facilities....If your primary source of news is the print media, you should be aware that content gets edited or ommited to sometimes fit space or column constraints, or to suit the whims of that particular writer...What I`m saying is that depending on who says what determines what makes it to the print page...To your credit ,you are correct in questioning the validity of the aforementioned poster...It appears to be grammatically correct, so I would be skeptical of it being created or written by a true Chicagoan

Guys, I saw this Sunday night. It was posted on local websites Sunday after the game.
We know that this is just the workings of a few idiots and that is NOT the sentiment of the Chicago people. Sure it pissed off some people here but as we all know there are jerks everywhere. I'm sure that some locals here have done and said classless things before.
You guys that are Bear fans, don't let a few idiots bother you.

HOWEVER, if you want to forfeit the win and let us go the Super Bowl, it won't hurt our feelings. LOL
