  • Hasn't at least one road team won a

conference title game a ridiculous number of years in a row now?

this should help ya from a buddie of mine that know is shit

a few things about the Conference Finals and pointspreads. Rarely have the spreads come into play in the game. In fact, over 70% of the games have been decided by double digits with 16+ being the average. Historically, the games have been one-sided and underdogs have done very well since the NFL went to the 12 team playoff format. Over the past sixteen years, road teams have gone 10-5-1 ATS. Find the team that you think will win the game and you have a very good chance of covering.

Six of the last ten double-digit Conference Championship wins have been recorded by the road visitor. Teams off an overtime win before the Conference Championship are 4-7-1 ATS. NFC North teams are also 4-7 in the final game before the Super Bowl as well. While you may think that home teams would hold a huge advantage, since 1990 they have been just 14-17-1 ATS. The extra week of preparation that they enjoyed with a bye in the Wild Card Round is now gone and they have only the same week to get ready as the competition. It is even more pronounced in the last seven years as home teams are only 6-11-1 ATS as favorites. The last time both home teams won in this round was 1996! Lastly, teams off an overtime playoff win are only 2-10 SU since 1977. “Bear” that in mind, Chicago fans!

          Clark: What's steroids?
Richie: Something that makes your pee-pee smaller.
Clark: There must be steroids in macaroni!

Good info and very interesting. I definitely think either NE or Chi will win today. Everyone seems to be on INDY and NO.
              Good luck guys!
