Seattle made a bit of a run in the top of the ninth, scoring one run to make it 5-3, but fricking Bret Boone struck out with runners at first and second and two out. And he's perhaps the lineup's best clutch hitter.

Hope the fans in Seattle realize by now that this Mariner team is an illusion. . . good (not great) pitching, but terrible (not bad) offense.
