Loyola-Maryland has opened the year with four straight wins with their last defeat coming December 30 at Michigan State where they covered as 17 point underdogs. The Greyhounds average 71 PPG while shooting just under 47% both in the top 100 in the nation. They also guard the "3-ball" well ranking 35th in the country in that category. Loyola Maryland is 5-2 at home versus Towson's 2-5 road mark. The Tigers rank 220th in the nation in points allowed and on the offensive side rank 220th in scoring, 222nd in field goal percentage and 299th in 3-point shooting.
On paper this one looks like a mismatch. Lay the lumber and look for a big win for Loyola-Maryland.
