What about the two point conversion? Was that brilliant play calling on Brady' s or Bellichick's part or what!

      That's how i saw it!
IMO, experience is too easy an explanation. Brady marched his team down the field against the Rams for the game winning field goal in the SB (I am sure you remember this better than I do)...was that because of experience (he had ZERO) or talent? The guy has the talent to make great plays and he does. And while I do not want to split hairs, he made a great throw to Caldwel to set up the FG...it's not like he marched them methodically down the field. That one throw comes from experience? Are you serious? He comes from having the God given talent to make a throw and to place it where no one else can make a play on the ball. Eperience did not make that play.

I think you would agree that outside of the last drive, Brady was very average today. He missed A LOT of open receivers Where was his experience then?

Rivers had no timeouts and 55 seconds to go 50 yards. And he got them to the edge of FG position.

When has he ever had talent around him? The guy is just a winner and he seems to always make the right decision when the game is on the line!

I agree 110%! But that isn't from experience, imo...he has done it since before he ever had any experience! And if he didn't get a second chance after the fumble on the interception, what would anyone be saying now about his 'experience'?

He is as good as they get....

I would also give a lot of credit for Patriot's success the last few years to Bellichick.
I would venture to say as clutch as Brady is, without Bellichick planning much of the overall game strategy, Pats would not have had as much success as they had the last few years.
In this case(Bellichick), I would have to say that brilliance wins out over experience;I do believe however that even Bellichick has learned a lot while on the job through experience.

I agree Frank and said it at the time of the challenge. What possibly were they hoping to get overturned? SD could've run another play at the end if they had a time out to get a closer FG attempt. Marty fucked that one up.

whats amazing is how many times pats have run that, and SD still wasn't prepared for it.

thats what i love about him. as average/poor as he and the offense were most the game, when it was on the line, he came through again.

SD gave him one extra chance after fumbling the int. thats all he needed. incredible.
