Philly overcame a huge mountain to get to where they were and win the division But they played a team with ZERO experiece and if it is such a big deal, it should have come into play in a close game...and it didn't.
Steelers they went to the AFC title game only to lose then come back the following year and win it all. This year they lost some key people hence Bettis a future Hall of Famer with his leadership and experience And they won with basically a rookie QB...

We could go back and forth on this but I will rely on Aikman's analysis, as he knows more about it than either one of us when he was asked on PTI tthis week about Grossman's lack of experience versus Hasselbeck's experience, he believes experience is a non factor at this stage of the season as everyone has played in pressure games/situations at some point.

I played the game and coach the game right now. On different levels it shows more. I think it also depends on the player and lack of experience can also be a positive.

My point was really that Brady and the Pats have been here and done well while Rivers is more less a rookie qb and I think that he would struggle thus having the Pats win the game. But that is my opinion and I could be totally wrong.

I just think when you get to a game like, this, if you don't make the plays to win, it isn't experience related, imo. Did Rivers not hit the guy wide open for a TD because he is inexperienced or because he made a bad throw under pressure? Does someone not make a big tackle because of inexperience or because he wasn't good enough on that play.... I believe experiece is overrated.
