  • Peyton Manning and Colts

Many of us and the media love to put all the blame on Peyton Manning. Obviously, he's a different QB in the playoffs than the regular season. He's been average in the two Colts playoff games.

However, the blame must be equally shared. Marvin Harrison is a different receiver. He breaks off routes to avoid getting hit. The receivers drop passes they don't normally drop during the season.

And if Tom Brady had a shitty game and threaded in an impossible pass and his TE made a diving catch on a critical third down play, everyone would be saying Brady is the greatest QB of all time for making the clutch play.

He hasn't been average. He's sucked and that trickles down to his receivers. 2 picks, he should have thrown at least 4 yesterday. This yr it's receivers and last yr it was his line. Whatever

You don't win 3 SB's because of "Luck". Maybe he is? Isn't it about making that critical play in a critical situation?

What was his excuse in college?
Am I the longest tenured BC member?

I'm not making excuses for Peyton. He's proven time and time again he's an average QB in a big game.

The point I'm trying to make is a few other guys on the team should also be criticized.

                Frank,

One thing for sure, the offensive line is different in the playoffs, their even better than they were during the reg season with pass protection. He had to scramble a bit, but against baltimore...not bad at all.

I hope the pats win today, cause i have seats at the RCA dome for next week should things work out.

I said the same thing yesterday to myself, Marvin keeps stopping when he sees that there is a chance to get hit. He must have big ears cause he keeps hearing footsteps, and only caught balls next to the protection of the sideline!!!

I love Brady. I'm not criticizing him. I'm just saying that everything is relative and every Colts win or loss doesn't come down to Manning.

Who knows if Vinatieri will be the difference between the Colts and Pats going to the Super Bowl this season.

Brady couldn't have been too happy to see NE lose him in the offseason.
