I hate losing a bet but I'm so happy the Saints won !!
Its nice to be able to move back in my house today and have the Saints in the NFC championship game !!
Pulling for Seattle tomorrow so we can be at home next week.
I know its hard to imagine that sports can mean so much but this team has really helped the people here in New Orleans.
Just wanted to post this and say thanks to you guys who have welcomed a newbie from Nawlins here.
Good luck tomorrow with your plays but the Aints fans are pulling big time for a Seattle win.

I was one of the "lucky" ones and only had 3-4 feet of water. I had to gut everything and repair the whole house. I sometimes wonder if it would have been better to have my house just blown away completely because then there is no arguing with the insurance companies or the Road Home recovery people. I promise you that whatever you saw on TV, the conditions were ten times worse.
I know you know how bad and crooked the politics are here. Our governor couldn't win dog catcher in the next election. Everything negative you hear about the politics here is true and worse than what you think. My area flooded because of piss poor decisions of our local government, and then they come up with rules that handicap the recovery. It really sucks.

Glad to hear you are a local guy. You know first hand how bad the politics are here. The "Saints" have been a "blessing" to us here. Hope you did ok and maybe we can meet one night and have a drink. I know you are pulling for Seattle tomorrow !!

GL on everything buddy! Im with ya on the Saints.. Im a Cowboys fan but after they got knocked out be the Seahawks and seeing everything that the Saints have gone through over the past year just to get to be able to play a home game not only still be in the playoffs is simply amazing! It would be a very very nice way to end the season seeing them winning the Super Bowl! I remember watching the first Monday Night Football game that the Saints had at home and it showed a guy that had a sign that read "I have no house,no job,and no money but thank god I have my Saints"... GO SAINTS
