Not sure if this has been posted, heard it on the way into work this morning on sports radio. Seem the SD Chargers and Chicago Bears have limited ticket sales through Ticketmaster to only their fans. Ticketmaster will only process ticket requests for Credit Cards with Billing Addresses in California for the San Diego Game, and only in Illinois and Northern Indiana for the Chicago game. All other transactions will be cancelled without notice.

Talk about some home field advantage. Does suck for fans of those teams from out of state. Ticket Resellers though have no such rule and tickets for upper level seats are now going at 3 times face value.

This measure is done to limit scalping, and has virtually nothing to do with a 'home field' advantage.

In fact, I know SD did this to limit Pats fans from buying. There are tons of Boston transplants in So Cal.

This keeps them out.....
